I bought this program a couple of months ago and it worked fine. I

With Open office 3.0.0 file open for the first time it is ok but opened for
the second time on another system (Shared) its not showing read only file.

uncheck this option and to use gnome dialogues if you are in Ubuntu.
There should not be problems to reach partitions which are mounted under
