This is a response to an old email, but:
" second reason - I don't know how to install (free/paid) Vz7 from iso to
Hetzner.de server PX121 *via Debian-based rescue system* - it is not
possible, as far I know, so Vz7 is not usable with Hetzner servers. "
FYI, I'm using OpenVZ7 with Hetzner servers.

What's the impact of this for security issues? Are security fixes above
a certain priority released early? Otherwise the "Secure for using in
public networks" feature listed here for OpenVZ 7 w

I campaigned to bring Virtuozzo Linux containers to my company, and used
them from 2010-2013, when I left. Naturally I loved the killer features
like vzfs, live migration, the web management console, etc. The tech
support guys in Moscow were top notch, and on one occasion tracked down a

On my taste support of VZ and feedback from VZ team is extremely bad, so
we planning to migrate to Docker next year and LXC as soon as it will be
usable at least like vz6.
For KVM there are a lot of alternatives, I do not know any reasons to
use vz7 for this.

Здравствуйте вам,
Я тут в дому затеял небольшую реорганизацию, в частности

VMs in VZ7 *ARE* KVM VMs... so I wouldn't expect them to be any different from
other KVM VMs... unless of course you are using the commercial storage product
that is part of Virtuozzo 7.
In my direct environment, we are between OpenVZ, LXC and Qemu. The two
first for VPS and the latter for VM.
All projects seem to expand to other's features and to hybridize.
The only support to kernel Linux seems to not change and, in long term,
will make a lot of FOSS projects to aground in innova
