On a fedora-11 (32 bits) host openVZ system I want to run a centos5.4
VPS, but apparently it is not available by default :-(
# yum search vztmpl
vztmpl-centos-4.i386
vztmpl-fedora-7.i386 ...etc .. but no centos-5 !
did I miss something in the openvz.repo !?
alternatively, I tried to use
sorry if i use this thread
but how to use the vztmpl via yum
no config files or something

there is one for centos-4, but can't find one for centos-5 .

Yes, but vztmpl for CentOS4 can easily be adapted to build CentOS5 OS
templates, too.
Also, there is an unofficial vztmpl
So, If I understand well, there's never been an (official ?) centos-5
template for openvz.
If I want one, I need to use the unofficial build method explained here:

Ok I understand now that vztmpl is deprecated (I read that in the
users-guide and wiki though ...)
now I did installed from precreated template cache
But then, my major concern is how do I maintain that VPS
how I update it, install packages etc ...
