Hi All,
I am just wondering if there is any sort of migration path for those
running All-In-One setups to a self-hosted engine setup?

I am attempting to install oVirt 3.6 on a CentOS7 host. it is a
single server, so I am trying to install a self-hosted engine. I am
able to install oVirt 3.5 self-hosted engine, but am having some
problems doing it with 3.6.
Everything appears to go fine; the engine-setup completes

Hi,
I have installed package
ovirt-hosted-engine-setup-1.3.1.4-1.el7.centos.noarch on CentOS 7.2 and
nvidia drivers installed as dependencies. If I manually try to remove
nvidia drivers yum proposes to remove ovirt packages as well. I don't have
any nvidia devices in my servers so I consider this
The uncompressed engine log for the period in question is 12M... Too large for

However, I grepped for ‘domain’ and that culls it down to 18 lines; the results

Hello,
I am attempting to build a fairly basic proof of concept ovirt 3.6 machine
with the engine, host and guests all on a single physical CentOS 7.2 box
with local storage (to start), but am running into issues where
engine-install produces the following error:
[ ERROR ] The VDSM host was
I'm trying to run the engine-backup script via a Bacula job using the
RunScript option so that the engine-backup dumps its output someplace
where Bacula will collect it once engine-backup finishes. However the
job is failing and with enough digging I eventually learned the script
was writing the
Hi Frank,
Thanks for info! Does your script automatically load the dummy module
as well, or do you create a separate file in '/etc/modprobe.d' to load
it (that's how I currently do my dummy NICs)
Thanks! :-)

I have similar issues with all the hosts I add to oVirt. Ovirtmgmt is
unassigned after setup while every server has a static address.
What I can do is assign ovirtmgmt to an interface, set the static IP again,
save it and then press the activate button on the host tab. After that all is
fine

I am not aware of anyone trying that.
You can start with [1]. Note that it does
