Hi all
Just wondering if http://www.ovirt.org/Features/LUN_Resize made it into
oVirt 3.6 and if it will be in RHEV-M 3.6?
Thanks

Hello,
I have a question about VDI and the use of a VM pool. Are the VMs that
are part of the pool linked clones or full clones of the pool's template VM?
Let's say my template VM has a HDD of 64GB, fully allocated. I create a
VM pool that uses that template and the pool consists of 5 VMs.
OK, don't worry about this ticket. It seems to be resolved now. I
noticed I was in fact missing "PROMISC=yes" in the ifcfg-dummy_* files,
but even after adding, it I still needed to reboot the host for it to
seemingly take effect (a simple "systemctl restart network" didn;t do
the trick)

After installing ovirt-hosted-engine-setup and it's dependencies on fedora
22, I can't get libvirtd to start using systemctl start libvirtd. When I
pull up the journalctl -xe output, I see a number of entries saying:
Jan 30 11:50:02 cedar.local libvirtd[1433]: Certificate
/etc/pki/vdsm/certs/vdsm

OK if it is supposed to work then clearly I have some inherited problem from a
couple years of upgrading.
I’ll start by checking FW etc.

Hi,
We've had the same experience as you with vm pools and have moved away from vm
pools to non-pool vms and manual assignment for Windows vms. We have an open
ticket with RH support for enabling stateful vm pool. This is the bugzilla
entry if you’d like to add your interest for the stateful vm
Hello,
I am running Ovirt 3.6.1 on CentOS 7.1 in a single server, hosted
engine setup.
I have created 10 dummy dummy interfaces names 'dummy_[0-9]'. Ovirt
sees them, and in "Networks" for my cluster, I created 10 10
"internal" networks called 'Internal_[0-9]'.
In the "Hosts" tab, in th
Hi,
when oVirt 3.6 is installed it's hidden behind Apache, so client
connects using HTTP(S) to Apache which uses AJP to forward this
request to WildFly where oVirt engine is executed. This is done
automatically during engine-setup no need for any manual config.

Hi Colin,
I normally use desktop pools for virtual machines, which are the same, and
single desktops for individual vms.
So mostly office vms are from a pool and admin vms aren't.
For patching you can either use some tools like Microsoft WSUS or for Linux vms
Katello/Satellite/... or if you'
Hi,
If you don't want to install any agents like snmpd or nrpe and plugins on your
hosts, you can monitor some basic metrics like cpu, memory, status, nics,... of
your hosts with check_rhev3, as Dominique already mentioned. See the
documentation about what's possible at the moment:
