Can I ask why you didnt just do an engine-cleanup and then engine-setup and
with the clean engine environment manually add your node and import storage
domains? You should run it in a VM take a snapshot of the base config and test
it out, it may be useful in the future for recovery. I learned
I currently have it setup in similar way.
I'd love to do 10G when the switch is upgraded but for now.
MGMT-2 or 4Port Bond depending on SRVR
Gluster-2 or 4Port Bond
You can configure under your Cluster as to which Network you want to use for
which, whether mgmt or gluster or even migration.
I have solved my issue, I had to manually add the updated ca.pem and
certs/engine.cer to /etc/pki/java/cacerts using keytool. Now I will work on
getting the new certs to the hypervisors and then follow the enroll
certificate process.
Thanks

I am having an issue on 1 single node where it is reporting 1 unsynced entry
and it is not healing by itself or by force.
In the glustershd.log it is reporting the following:
W [MSGID: 114031] [client-rpc-fops_v2.c:2620:client4_0_lookup_cbk]
0-data-client-2: remote operation failed.
[{path=},
All my Nodes are on the same version currently of 10, are you saying its a
good idea to do to be ready for any differences if I ever upgrade later on?
Does the opversion correlate with the actual gluster version or does it just
have to be higher than other nodes on lower versions?
I ask
You can use the management network for migration and set a threshold to keep
some bandwidth for the actual management traffic.
Having separate management network would be useful if you have a very large
cluster and you will have a lot of movement between the nodes.

Hello Don,
I'm sorry not to be able to help you... I was just happy that a simple
4.4 procedure was available when I needed it last month...
There is no more support from community since a long time on 4.2 branch,
that's why the best upgrade strategy is to regulary upgrade on upstream
Good Day All;
I am in the process of assembling a new oVirt cluster and I am wondering if
there is any benefit to having a dedicated set of nics solely dedicated to VM
migration. If so, would those nics (bonded) be on their own vlan and subnet or
would they share a subnet with gluster storage

Do you have a procedure that works on Ovirt 4.2.x as the engine-setup
--offline doesn't seem to work for me as Admin Portal has a failure of
"unable to find valid certification path" message. I have posted about this
twice this week with no response from anyone. My engine and 32
Hello,
If you refer to:
1. engine apache certificate expiration ("PKIX path building failed:
sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException:) to
access to ovirt console.
=> engine-setup --offline
2. hosts certificate expiration?

Thanks for the reply.
I had already checked what you suggested. I didn't realize that the
engine was used only for management, I had assumed that if it crashes it
would take down all the VMs.
ovirt-ha-broker seems to have crashed. In the borker.log I see:
RuntimeError: Couldn't connect
Dear oVirt,
The oVirt SSL certificated were changed to one-year renewal and we have a
problem now.
We are running 4.4.x version with SHE on local storage cluster and we have four
more local storage clusters.
One the cluster running SHE, the engine and host certificates have expired. We

Hi,
this should already be fixed by https://github.com/oVirt/ovirt-dwh/pull/38
included in ovirt-engine-dwh-4.5.3,
which should be part of upcoming oVirt 4.5.1 release.

Martin
