Erik,
I had a similar issue in the past. I think that updating vdsm on your
host can do the trick.
Put your host on maintenance mode and upgrade your host to 3.6.
Make sure you install the 3.6 repos.
Good luck!

Hello,
I changed my cluster and data center compatibility from 3.5 to 3.6 with a
3.5 host. D'oh!
Engine: 3.6 on FC22
Host: 3.5 on FC22 (local storage)
- Can I change the data center and cluster back to 3.5? How?
- I tried to upgrade host to 3.6 in the GUI. Maintenance->Reinstall did
not
Hi Alexandr,
changing host address is not supported in general. The only way to do so is to
remove and re-add the host. I'm not sure if there is some way for storage to
survive the re-adding.
@Tal, can you please add details?

Hi all,
I am deploying hosted engine in what will hopefully become our 4th oVirt
cluster. The engine is up and running happily in host 1 already, but I am
running into the following when running hosted-engine --deploy in hosts 2
and 3:
The following CPU types are supported by this host:
Hi all,
This is a usability bug. If I let my engine time out, and then I'm
presented with a login form and I correctly submit it, I should immediately
be logged in.
[I think there may be some misunderstanding in the thread that this was
more of a normal or expected "your session timed out"

All, we are running Ovirt 4.0 on CentOS 7. We have some errors in our

Hi all,
I just recently started testing out oVirt in our lab. I’m using CentOS 7 on my
hosts and using the hosted-engine model, and the oVirt 3.6 repository. I have
NFS storage. I ran across what I think is a bug of some sort, and I’m curious
if anyone else has tried this or know what’s
Is it now in version 4.0.2 (or previous 3.6.x) fully supported? Or still in
testing?
As described here:
http://www.ovirt.org/develop/release-management/features/engine/self-hosted-engine-hyper-converged-gluster-support/
Only with Gluster I presume...
Is there any bug tracker to see a list of all

Hi all,
I installed vdsm 4.18.11 in ovirt engine 4.0.2, uninstall
qemu-kvm-ev 2.3.0 with rpm Ce Cnodeps, and then compile and make install
qemu 2.5.1;
The vdsm host is still up in ovirt engine, but when “Run” Vm in this vdsm
host, it reports an error as:
internal error:
Anyone can help me to build HA on HostedEngine VM?
How can i guarantee that if host with HostedEngine VM goes down, the
HostedEngine VM moves to another host?

Why not just assign the host a publicly accessible IP address and restrict
SSH by firewall so only the engine (and possibly you) can access through
SSH?

I've a similar setup and I use a proxy (Squid) to get out of our private
LAN, all you have to do is define a proxy in your yum configuration
(/etc/yum.conf) in case of RH/CentOS Systems.

Hi,
I see the below error logged in vdsm.log file . can some one help me
understand what this error is and do we have any bug for this error?

Hi,
Thanks a lot this did work on the Foreman side using
https:///ovirt-engine/api/v3 .
But on the oVirt Side, to define Foreman as an external provider, it
still doesn't work, is there also a special URL to enter? I didn't find
anything in the docs.
Thanks for any hint.

Arsène
Hi,
you could install Katello, register your hosts to receive updates through
Katello and configure oVirt-Katello integration. You can find more
information at
http://www.ovirt.org/develop/release-management/features/katellointegration/

It seems like you already have an engine. Can't tell if it's a
