Hello all,
My hosted engine does not start up anymore, because the node can't reach the
storage.
The hosted engine configuration has not been retrieved from shared storage.
Please ensure that ovirt-ha-agent is running and the storage server is
reachable.

Hi,
You need to create a new image_transfer_service and send the data to the
proxy.
The best way to learn how to do it is by looking at this example:

Hi,
I did not select any CPU architecture. It doenst gove me the option to

Looking at the documentation of installing ovirt-release36.rpmit does
allow you to select te CPU, but not when installing ovirt-re
what did you select as your CPU architecture when you created the cluster?
It looks like the VM is trying to use a CPU type of "Custom", how many
nodes in your cluster? I suggest you specify the lowest common denominator

Hi all,
I did a routine maintenance today (updating the hosts) to ovirt cluster

After shutdown of VM the VM is not able to start again, giving the error:

Hi,
I'm running Version 4.2.3.8-1.el7, and after reboot the engine machine no

Hi Jim,
Just to throw my 2 cents in, one of my clusters is very similar to yours,
& I'm not having any of the issues you complain about. One thing I would
strongly recommend you do however is bond your NICs with LACP 802.3ad -
either 2x1Gbit for oVirt & 2x1Gbit for Gluster, or bond all of your NIC

Ouch!!! it looks like there was a change that stops you removing system
permissions from built in group everyone, but you can add them in 4.2 which is
unfortunate.
You may have to remove them with a dbscript.

Answering the question for posterity.
We found a temporary solution to the described problem.
We had a development cluster with a working SPICE console. By comparing
packages we have established the differences between working and not
working SPICE setup. We have isolated the spice-server packag

We have over 6000 VMs in the cluster with 100 running is there a way to delay
updating the VMs and update the cluster compatibility level to 4.2 then update
the VMs in batches?

I see also that the last 4 or 5 weeks (after I upgraded from 4.1 to 4.2) I
have to almost every week go and refresh the servers (maintenance, reboot)
to release the RAM. If I leave them the RAM ill be eventually depleted from
gluster services. I am running gluster 3.12.9-1 with ovirt 4.2.4.5-1.el7.
