I updated oVirt Engine to 4.5.1 and i am still unable to upgrade cluster level
compatibility to 4.7.
Sometimes switching compatiblity settings reset other settings, so i took a
screenshot from the vm settings of the engine, set compatiblity level from
nothing/empty to 4.7, then i checked all ot
I tried the same procedure as Ryan.
(/usr/share/ovirt-engine/dbscripts/engine-psql.sh
-c "update vm_static SET time_zone='Etc/GMT' where
vm_name='HostedEngine';"
hosted-engine --vm-shutdown
hosted-engine --vm-start
But i am still unable to change the compatibility version, currently it is
shown
Re-ran the timezone fix (/usr/share/ovirt-engine/dbscripts/engine-psql.sh
-c "update vm_static SET time_zone='Etc/GMT' where
vm_name='HostedEngine';") to be sure, then did a "hosted-engine
--vm-shutdown" and a "hosted-engine --vm-start" and it finally let me
update the cluster level.

Has anyone had any success with solving this issue? I'm running into it as
well after upgrading to 4.5. I'm unable to change any settings on the
hosted engine, with everything reporting settings as locked.
