[SOGo] Show subscribed mailboxes only ?

2011-03-15 Thread Daniel Berteaud
Hi everyone.

I'm wondering what's the goal of the "Show subscribed mailboxes only"
check box in the options, as it seems there's no way to
subscribe/unsubscribe folders in SOGo. In my setup (1.3.5a), I don't see
any difference with or without the option.

One of my users would like to hide some folders from SOGo (without
removing them, so he would just like to unsubscribe), is there a way to
do this now, or this not yet implemented ?

Regards, Daniel

2011-03-15 Thread giunta
Hi at all,
I've some problem with ldap groups on a fresh installation of SOGo 1.3.5a; I'm
able to search my groups to add them on calendars and address books, but if I
try to search for any groups to invite to an events, it doesn't show up ...

In my log file I've seen a strange string:

why 'excludeGroups' is true ?? And could it be my problem ??

No, as on each rotation, the current log is truncated (just like echo ''

Re: [SOGo] Global sieve rule?

2011-03-15 Thread Dennis Petschull
Hi,

For Dovecot you can use the "sieve_before" option, as described here
http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA/Sieve/Dovecot

This works perfectly for me.

Cheers,
Dennis

Copytruncate is needed if you don't restart the daemon. Instead of
moving the old log file and creating a new, it'll just copy the old log,
and truncate it, so the daemon doesn't need any reload to continue
writing data to the new file (because it's the same as the old one).

Thanks for any clue,

While I can't seem to figure out where a global rule would go I did
figure out how to get it to work for a single user. In short, it pays to
turn up the verbosity of the logs.

The sogo process holds an open file handle on the log file (say sogo.log).
Logrotate moves sogo.log to sogo.log.1. The file handle does not change --
sogo still writes to sogo.log which now became sogo.log.1 -- which is the
wrong file.
The restart was there to make sogo reopen the file handle -- to ultimately
write to the new sogo.log file.
In case you use the "copytrunkate" option of logrotate this restart is not
required any more, because log messages are copied away into sogo.log.1 and
the log file sogo.log is truncated. See "man logrotate" for details.

If so, remove it altogether with "defaults delete sogod

I found the solution to my problem (was suggested in this ml yesterday).
/etc/logrotate.d/sogo contained a post-rotate script which tried to

(well, not really a crash, as it shutdown gracefully, but not the
expected outcome of a restart anyhow). I did not find out what causes
this problem yet, as manually restarting sogo via init-script works as
expected. But removing the post-rotate-part will fix the problem of sogo
being offline after a log-rotate occurred.
Just posting it here for documentary reasons.

No it isn't. I've seen it to in wireshark captures.
I did a test with another (much longer) URL an again the last char is missing.

I updated to nightly builds with no difference.

Thanks for your answer!

I switched to the nightly build and it is still the same.
Its not a limitation to 50 chars.

I have gnustep 1.20 installed from my distribution (OpenSuse 11.3).
Could this be the reason?

That was it I must have forgotten to run
sql-update-1.3.3_to_1.3.4-mysql.sh.

Is it on the road map to simplify the update process? I know other
projects have a update.php script that looks at what is installed and
what version the database is and runs a function that does the update.
You could even call it from the rpm post when updating.

Re: [SOGo] caldav href tag: last character missing.

2011-03-15 Thread Wolfgang Sourdeau

Hi Christian,

notice "Calenda" instead of "Calendar" in DAV: href
this happend with all Calendar-folders.
I couldn't find this bug in the Bug database.
This could be the reason for problems with some Clients (iCal, Konqueror 4.6)

Does someone noticed the same?

This is a serious issue, and a similar (if not the same) one has been
mentionned a couple of days ago. I believe it's related to the use of
gnustep 1.16, which is quite old. We recently upgraded our Redhat/CentOS
distribution to gnustep 1.20.2. Could you give it a try?

Hi Louis-Philippe,

You will not lose any data. The "inverse edition" uses the exact formats
and data structure as Lightning 1.0b2, only with some enhancements. You
can even switch back later to the mozilla edition without fear.

Re: [SOGo] SOGo shutting down at given time

2011-03-15 Thread Michael Noack
I found the solution to my problem (was suggested in this ml yesterday).
/etc/logrotate.d/sogo contained a post-rotate script which tried to
restart sogo via its own init-script. This restart made sogo "crash"
Just posting it here for documentary reasons.

cheers,
Michael

Have you upgraded from a previous release? If so, you likely did not run
the SQL update scripts.

In any cases, look for errors from /var/log/sogo/sogo.log

For example: In Thunderbird lightning (Inverse Edition 1.0b2+104i)
the event is correctly shown to start at 13:00 (1pm), but in the
sogo-webview the same event is shown to start at 14:00 (2 pm).
I´ve attached a screenshot.

The event was an invitation send from outlook (mac) and was
accepted in the web interface from sogo. Part of the invitation:

DTSTART;TZID=W. Europe Standard Time:20110311T13
DTEND;TZID=W. Europe Standard Time:20110311T14

There is currently a parsing bug for TZID that contains a space
character - like the one you pasted above.
