Re: [SOGo] SOGo without LDAP and with mysql. Can I still share calendars?
Christian, Thanks for your very detailed explanation :-) Now I know for sure how it should work. Just one more question about your explanation: Does it apply to both the web interface and the SOGo integrator? The place I get stuck when following your instructions is this part: Now start typing the name or email address of the desired user. After each keystroke you get a list of some of the matching users (25 at most on my server). I get the user add window, but it's empty no matter what letter I type. If I try to enter an email address/user I know is there (I only have 5 users at the moment, it's a test set up) it becomes red and I cannot add it. So I must be doing something wrong in the configuration somewhere. I think the other users are valid users since I can login to SOGo with them. [SOGo] Shared LDAP adressbook CardDav for Mac OS X 10.7.3
Hello Together, I'm desperately trying to configure LDAP global address-book over Carddav. Some threads are saying this is impossible, some have other problems but can see LDAP as address-book. I must say that for Thunderbird client Carddav works perfectly in read only (search filter) and general (full pull) mode. But Mac OS sees only personal contacts, not the global one. I tried to specify different path, just like in Thunderbird, but still failed. Will appreciate any help on this subject. P.S. sogo versions: 1.3.15 stable -- С уважением, Момот Павел. Re: [SOGo] Shared LDAP adressbook CardDav for Mac OS X 10.7.3
Hi, we have the same issue here. i believe to saw that OS X Address Book is enterprise oriented therefore only uses first (private) address book. we managed to have the shared one instead by modifiying the accounts .plist file - but its not a good reliable solution. Hope that one of Inverse Teams Member can say more about and if theres a workaround for OSX AB. [SOGo] help zeg virtual appliance 2.0 rc2
Thank-you in advance Help While searching for a “free” alternative to Microsoft Exchange (which I have no experience with!) I found Sogo. I wanted to try out the virtual machine “ZEG” . I imported into virtual box and it starts and I get a valid IP address which I can ping externaly. I created another virtual box running windows XP and installed Microsoft office 2003. I can ping the Zeg appliance from the xp machine. I can even connect to the sogo server through http and I can access the webmin console through the XP machine. I modified the hosts file on the XP machine but outlook will not connect. I go to control panel to mail setup and follow the guide on the sogo.nu site. For the user name I use sogo1, 2, or 3 with the password sogo. I’ve tried so...@example.com, sogo1, sogo\sogo1 as user names I get nothing. The only thing I get is either “your Microsoft exchange server is unavailable” or “the action could not be completed. The connection to the Microsoft exchange server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.” i also disabled any firewalls. Can you help? Please… with sugar on top?!!! Thank-you, Joe -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
