[SOGo] Web UI base URL

2012-10-18 Thread Simon Walter

Greetings,

Is a setting for the base URL for the SOGo web interface. It might be
possible to rewrite everything from the Apache config, but it would be
nice to have the pages linking to the correct URLs.

For now I'll just put a redirect for / to /SOGo.

[SOGo] Installation on Mobile Devices

2012-10-18 Thread katherinekimmons33
Hi,

I just installed Sogo...Zeg to test out the install..see if this groupware can
do what we need
we are a non-proft and we have a small mobile device management population.We
use a solution called Mobileiron which reallly sucks. I would think if you
centrally manage your mobile device infrastructure there would be a way to
setup , Contacts for Emergency purposes and push them to the selected mobile
devices. In other words, I need a way to have a Alerts Contacts pushed to iOS
and Android devices. Is this possible through Sogo..if so I need some serious
help. I thought this was just a matter of having a CardDav that everyone could
access..but I cant seem to figure itout and am running into a brick wall as to
how to setup a carddav.

bottom line is that i need to setup up a way to have shared contacts in the
event of an emergency.

thanks for your help

When I setup the user u...@domain.tld I get the error: /usr/sbin/samba:
Uncaught exception MAPIStoreIOException, reason: could not create special table
'socfs_usern...@domain.tld' If I just username it works, but that won't
register with my mail server.
Also is there a way to via the ldap directory of openchange/samba4? If so what

Re: [SOGo] Mobile Sync with Z-Push Activsync Successful

2012-10-18 Thread Mailing

Hi All,

 Just wanted to let you all know that Mobile Sync with Z-push
Activsync was successful with the below php library.

 https://github.com/xbgmsharp/sogosync [1]

 1. Android Based phones - Native Support for 2 way sync with
Calendards, Tasks and Address Book
 2. Apple IOS TAB and IPhone - Native Support for 2 way sync for
Calendards and Tasks. One way sync with Address Book to Apple IOS.

 Need to figure out further on Carddav integration issue with Apple
IOS.

 I would recommend SOGo team to do further Testing and recommend this
method as well on the below url.
 http://www.sogo.nu/english/downloads/frontends.html [2]

 Did anyone try it on Blackberry or we can only sync through Funambol
?

 Looking forward to your reply.

Re: [SOGo] Mobile Sync with Z-Push Activsync Successful

2012-10-18 Thread Devinder Singh

Hi Peter,

My objective is to have all Mobile devices sync with SOGo.

Z-push is a good replacement for Funambol due to its native
compatibility with Andriod and Apple IOS with version 6.

However, Z-push do not support Blackberry Devices and so we require
Funambol.

I am working on making it work for me :). But you can say it got Z-sync
topic got hijacked by Funambol.

By the way, Funambol setup is complete and looking forward to test with
Blackberry tomorrow.

Thanks & Regards,

yes -- you're right -- exchange protocol is not the same as activesync
protocol (what z-push is doing)

there are two principal use cases for Funambol

- you want to sync from outlook to sogo/funambol and you are _not_
using the "outlook compatibility" sogo version
- the mobile device doesn't support activesync, but does support syncML
(Funambol's protocol)

* Why does it need Funambol? (Or are your questions about Funambol not

hi devinder,

yea -- setting up funambol with sogo is a pain ...

my install.properties looks like this:

#
==
# Funambol Data Synchronization Server
#
==
# Installation properties
#
==

server-uri=

# The context path to use to access SyncServer
context-path=/funambol

dbms=mysql
jdbc.classpath=/opt/Funambol/tools/tomcat/lib/mysql-connector-java-5.1.22-bin.jar
jdbc.driver=com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
jdbc.url=jdbc:mysql://localhost/funambol

and, you need to set the securityOfficer to sogo -- the config file
should look likeL

cat /opt/Funambol/config/ca/inverse/sogo/security/SOGoOfficer.xml

SOGOSERVER_IP_ADDRESS

SOGOSERVER_PORT

and you need to link the mysql jat into the java directory:

ln

/opt/Funambol/tools/jre-1.6.0/jre/lib/ext

i'm getting the same thing apple and contacts -- keeping my fingers
crossed for a fix

as for BB -- only funambol is working now -- i have not tried astrasync
sync against z-push and sogo. when rim gets around to releasing their
new phone, and if they remain in business, the new version will natively
support actyivesync (exchange) for the first time.

cheers

Re: [SOGo] SOGo 2.0 ZEG strange timezone behavior

2012-10-18 Thread Michal Kminek

Hi,

do you have correctly set your time zone in ZEG system and in SOGo?

You can adjust the ZEG system time zone by running the following command
(it's interractive):

sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

the default password is "sogo"

Modify the SOGo time zone too:

sudo service sogo stop
defaults write sogod SOGoTimeZone "Europe/Prague"
sudo service sogo start

Use your time zone name you have set in previous step.

Just to share the experience, what Windows do you use and what MS
Outlook version?

Regards,
Michal

Almost the same for me. An all-day event is shown over 2 days in the
web interface but is correctly displayed in Thunderbird.
If I create an all-day event for the 16th Oct it is shown on the 16th
and on the 17th Oct in the web interface.

Any help is appreciated,

I setup SOGo, system and Windows to use the same timezone in ZEG. I
found a strange behavior - if the timezone is GMT or any other GMT +h
zone then all all-day events created with MS Outlook (2007, 2010) go
one day back in the web interface. For example if I create an all-day
event to happen on 25th Oct in Outlook it is displayed as an all-day
event on 24th Oct in SOGo.

If I setup the time zone as any GMT -h zone everything works fine.
