Hi, have you already checked out JSXC? https://www.jsxc.org/sogo.html https://github.com/jsxc/jsxc.sogo As far as external (smartphone) access is concerned: JSXC requires an XMPP servers (formerly known as Jabber) as a backend, so chances are that your mobile clients could be able to connect
