[SOGo] Active Sync Version
Hello dear Inverse Team I wanted to ask if you already looked into updating active sync to V16 At some stage I have asked about it (11. or 12. Dec.) and I understood that this will be considered. The reason why I follow up on it is is that this version is supposed to allow the sync of the drafts folder of iOS 10 devices via EAS, which would be a great feature to have. https://www.connecting-software.com/new-microsoft-upgrade-for-exchange-activesync-2016/ Apparently there are also some other advantages with the calendar reliability, as stated in the article, but I am not experienced with that. Kind Regards Chris -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] RPM Package build scripts
I'd like to build rpm packages within a docker container. I've created a Dockerfile/Run-Script for debian wheezy and jessie and I'd like to do that also for centos6/7. A very first fork of my debian scripts can be found at: https://github.com/pluhmen/docker-sogo-build-centos7/tree/first_try You're welcome to contribute. [SOGo] Fwd: Syncing of drafts folders on iOS
In relation to the update of active sync to V16, this was our correspondence from December last year. I can still offer to be off assistance (if that makes sense) with my iOS 10 device. Chris Begin forwarded message: From: "Christoph Kuhnert | YNA" (christo...@yna11.com)Date: 10 December 2016 at 22:12:06 GMT+1 To: users@sogo.nu Subject: Re: [SOGo] Syncing of drafts folders on iOS Reply-To: users@sogo.nu Hi Thomas I found this article today and found out the same about the V16 as what you just said. https://www.connecting-software.com/new-microsoft-upgrade-for-exchange-activesync-2016/ I have several iOS 10 devices available in our office. If we can assist somehow in testing or similar then please advise and we will do what we can. Chris On 10 Dec 2016, at 22:07, Thomas Fuehrer wrote: Hi Christoph, Draft-Folder-Sync is a feature which is supported with EAS v16.0. The only client which seems to support this (currently) is iOS 10. It shouldn’t be a too difficult to implement that. Perhaps I’ll have a look if I can get hold on an iOS 10 device. But I will put that feature request in, because the syncing of drafts is super important for professional usage (in my opinion). I will check where I can do it on the SOGo webpage. Or does someone know a workaround? The only thing that does not work for us is the syncing of the drafts folders from iOS devices when we are using Exchange accounts. I looked at this already together with Zhang from iRedmail but we did not find any hints in the sogo.log file. http://www.iredmail.org/forum/post53213.html#p53213 Is it expected that the syncing of the draft folder should work and could someone give me a tip about what to look at to solve it? Re: [SOGo] authenticate against IMAP
Thanks for enlightening me. I wrongly assumed that SQL authentication has to be done against SOGo table. I now created custom view as per documentation and it works well. It's that simple. [SOGo] RPM Package build scripts
In order to reduce my own overhead, I scripted the process of building SOGo RPM packages (both v2 and v3) under mock. Right now, the spec files don't include all of the build dependencies, so those have to be patched. I've already sent pull requests for both v2 and v3 to correct that. https://github.com/gordonmessmer/build-sogo/tree/master (I've sent this before, but I don't see it in the list archives.) -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] authenticate against IMAP
Dear fellow SOGo users. I run exim+dovecot combo where both tools use common users mysql database (user,domain,password,quota,etc...). I don't really like creating separate users database just for SOGo. Is it possible that SOGo authenticates against either IMAP server or existing users database (different than SOGo standard database)? Thanks -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] Support for SHA512-crypt
Hi team, Support for SHA512-crypt (for SQL auth) is not yet available in Deb 8 nightly build for SOGo v3.2.4 released Dec 1, 2016 even though it was added on Nov 10 to https://github.com/inverse-inc/sogo/blob/master/SoObjects/SOGo/NSData%2BCrypto.h Will this be added to official nightly build in the next release or is there any way to add SHA512-crypt support to an existing SOGo v3.2.4 installation without reinstalling/compiling from source.
