Re: [SOGo] AD avatar - How to?
2017-01-09 13:46 keltezéssel, Christoph Kreutzer (kreutzer.christ...@gmail.com) írta: Hi Alex, That's easy. SOGo by default uses the photo LDAP attribute. You need to create a Mapping from photo to thumbnailPhoto or jpegPhoto, or both. See the documentation for LDAP UserSource mapping, I don't have it in my mind. It should look somehow like photo = ("thumbnailPhoto", "jpegPhoto") You're right! https://sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGoInstallationGuide.html#_ldap_attributes_mapping I searched 'jpegphoto' and 'thumbnailphoto', but neither on the doc. But this link contains the "photo" part. :) Thanks. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

My MS-AD already have users images, I wanna use them in SOGo, like I alredy do in Roundcube, GLPI, Openfire, etc. How can I import/show my AD users images into SOGo? Cheers. Sorry for misunderstanding :( I don't find that part on the documentation, but the changelog really reference about that feature. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] AD avatar - How to?
2017-01-09 12:29 keltezéssel, Alexandre Zuotoski Neto (t...@csmcalderaria.com.br) írta: Hi! I saw that SOGo now supports active directory avatars (I guess that it also supports MS-AD thumbnalPhoto/jpegPhoto attribute). Is it correct? If so, how to do it, please? Thanks you! Hi Alexandre, For example: if you have a thumbnail in /path/example.jpg, then you can do it with the following method. echo "dn: cn=example.user,dc=example,dc=com changetype: modify add: jpegPhoto jpegPhoto:< file://path/example.jpg - add: thumbnailPhoto thumbnailPhoto:< file://path/example.jpg" | ldapmodify -D cn=administrator,dc=example,dc=com -W It adds both attribute to the user's attributes after you give the administrator' password. You need the ldap-utils package for do that. If user have an other jpeg thumbnail avater, then you need to use the "replace" command instead of "add". I think you can use the ldbmodify instead of ldapmodify with similar syntax, but not sure to same. I usually use above. Cheers, Peti -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] dovecot-sogo3 and shared folders
2016-11-24 19:04 keltezéssel, "Frank Soyer" (fso...@systea.fr) írta: Hi list, and sorry if this question was already answered, I can't find any doc : I'm testing Sogo 3 (what a pleasure ! ;) bravo to all the team for this work !) and wonder if there is some doc ot tuto about sharing email folders. The system is a CentOS7 with dovecot (provided by VestaCP that I'm adapting for Sogo), auth on mysql. Actualy all other functionnalities work like a charm, mails, calendars, address books, and sharing this last two... But not folders. I've read here some posts, particularly from Jonathan Dumaresq : where have you found this conf ? Thanx for all informations ! Frank Hi Frank, I used AD for auth, but I think this little difference won't confuse you. You have to some changes in your dovecot.conf file: 1. In the mail_plugins line you need to add the acl plugin. Example: Before: mail_plugins = quota notify After: mail_plugins = acl quota notify 2. Into the "plugins" section you need to insert two lines: acl_shared_dict = file:/var/mail/shared-mailboxes.db acl = vfile (Of course change the path similar to your environment). 3. At the end of the config you need to add two sections (based on your environment): namespace { type = private separator = / prefix = inbox = yes } namespace { type = shared separator = / prefix = shared/%%u/ location = maildir:/var/mail/%%u:INDEX=/var/mail/%u/shared/%%u list = children } 4. And finally you have to restart the dovecot service. I think that above will be enough for the happiness. Cheers, Peti -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Re: [SOGo] ANN: SOGo Package Repositories
2016-07-19 18:13 keltezéssel, Ludovic Marcotte (lmarco...@inverse.ca) írta: Hello, Over the past 10 years, Inverse has been developing SOGo and providing everything (software packages, documentation, etc.) completely free of charge. A massive number of organizations worldwide have successfully deployed SOGo and benefit for free from the continuous enhancements of the software. After many months of discussion and thinking, we made the decision to close down the public package repositories. From now on, in order to access the production builds of SOGo for various Linux distributions, you will need a proper support contract from Inverse. The options are listed here: https://sogo.nu/support/index.html#support-plans Payments can be made by credit card. We hope that this move will help Inverse to: * increase its investments in SOGo * accelerate SOGo v3 evolution by adding more features (S/MIME, alternate storage backends, etc.) * expedite bugs fixing and small feature additions * invest in gravitational projects * extend its support to more Linux distributions * create a VAR channel to resell and participate in providing support Tying up package repositories to a support agreement is important for us as Inverse strives to offer stellar support and we want to bring more value for the money to each customer. Current organizations that have a support contract with us will automatically get access to the package repositories. Official packages also offer the advantage of being thoroughly tested before they are released. SOGo will continue to remain entirely Free and Open Source. The source code will always be fully available and we will keep using the current licenses. Nightly builds will also remain available to all, as well as the ZEG configured with the latest software. Thanks for your support and understanding. Together, we all make SOGo better! Hi Ludovic, These reasons are absolutely understandable, but I think the community needs some extra documentation about the package creation for various distributions (RHEL, Debian, Ubuntu what supported by you with repositories earlier). I think some of us have infrastructure to keep 3rd party repositories for compatible packages with the olders. Example, I can build packages for Ubuntu, and serve it for other interested community users. Not all branches, but the main stable v3 branch is distributable by me - after some days later than the stable release is launched. The main point is the fully compatibility with older (created by you) packages. If you have build scripts or anything what can help us in this procedure, that should be awesome. Thanks a lot, Peti -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
