Re: [SOGo] Private personal calendar shows up twice for one user

2017-10-19 Thread "Frank Soyer"

Hi,
We have the same bug since 3 days for only one of our users. His calendar
suddenly appear twice, but the two with black letter and all events appear
twice too. Hidding the first hise ALL events and their duplicate, but hidding
the second calendar hide nothing.
Any idea ? For an installation on mysql, I guess that the calendars are stored
in db ? How are they and is there a way to debug this in db tables ?

Thanks for all suggestions !
Frank

That calendar can’t be deleted.

Any hints?

any suggest will be welcome to avoid this message filling sogo.log, something

[SOGo] Sigantures disappear

2017-07-21 Thread "Frank Soyer"

Hi,
we had 3 times a problem with HTML signatures with a 3.2.9 : it just disappear !
The 2 first one was made from Christian Mack suggestion : copir HTML source,
past it in the Sogo3 editor in text mode, revert to HTML mode. The third was
just copy/paste from an old email in html mode.
When it disappear, returning in text mode show only some css code, I guess,
probably the beginning of the signature, but nothing after.

This is annoying !
Can you tell me were are stored this king of data ?

Thanks

When copying from a calc document, you either get tabs (row) or carriage
returns (column) as seperators, which both work in SOGo web frontend.
I assume, they copied their addresses from a word document, else they
would not have spaces between them.

That said, spaces ar not supported as seperator, which means you have to

Hello Christian,

thanks for your reply.
The only setting that was different from yours it the MailSpoolPath. I
adapted it, but nothing changed.
I also created the script /var/vmail/.../sieve/sogo.sieve as well as the

when I modify the filter rules in the SOGo web interface and save the
changes, SOGo tells managesieve the command 'SETACTIVE ""' which deletes
the link /var/vmail/.../.sieve and furthermore 'DELETESCRIPT "sogo"'

SOGoMailSpoolPath = /var/vmail;

SOGoSieveServer = "sieve://mail.mydomain.org:4190";
SOGoSieveScriptsEnabled = YES; // (Sieve Script einschalten)
SOGoVacationEnabled = YES;

this will result that for example in this described case sogo expects
u...@mydomain.org to have a folder called
/var/vmail/ u...@mydomain.org/sieve/
and in it a file called :
/var/vmail/ u...@mydomain.org/sieve/sogo.sieve
The first thing to remember is that
1) YOU MUST CREAT IT. SOGo will not create this file for you. And you

And you have to place the link from
ln /var/vmail/ u...@mydomain.org/sieve/sogo.sieve /var/vmail/

For some reason this file (/var/vmail/

If you create it and modify it with SOGo the world looks fine, but you
must never touch this script with another editor.
2) If you modify this file for example with the Thunderbird app SOGO
will ignore the changing and will overwrite it with the last version you
created with SOGo next time.
Also SOGo does not allow one to write the sieve script by hand.
The Thunderbird plugin will let you create a huge number of scripts, but
you can always activate only one.
The script you create with Thunderbird will be called main.sieve and if
you activate it your script you created with SOGo will not be active.
And probably this is happening with your case.

there the following settings in /etc/sogo/sogo.conf that are relevant
with sieve
SOGoMailSpoolPath = /var/vmail;
[...]
SOGoSieveServer = "sieve://mail.mydomain.org:4190";
SOGoSieveScriptsEnabled = YES; // (Sieve Script einschalten)
SOGoVacationEnabled = YES;
SOGoForwardEnabled = YES;
this will result that for example in this described case sogo expects
u...@mydomain.org to have a folder called
/var/vmail/ u...@mydomain.org/sieve/
and in it a file called :
/var/vmail/ u...@mydomain.org/sieve/sogo.sieve
The first thing to remember is that
1) YOU MUST CREAT IT. SOGo will not create this file for you. And you
must call it sogo.sieve. No other name is good.
And you have to place the link from
ln /var/vmail/ u...@mydomain.org/sieve/sogo.sieve /var/vmail/
u...@mydomain.org/.dovecot.sieve
for dovecot to know this is the main sieve script. SOGo will not put the
link.
For some reason this file (/var/vmail/
u...@mydomain.org/sieve/sogo.sieve) is not read correctly by SOGo.

Hi guys,
I have exactly the same problem with a recent install (3.2.8.20170427 by rpm on
Centos7).
All the tips given below have been tried without success. The file sogo.sieve,
even created manually, is deleted but never recreated.
tcpflow give me exactly the same sequence as Oliver.

This is annoying for filters, true, but more for vacation messages ! Help !
Please, give us a way to debug this. Why Sogo doesn't send SETACTIVE and
PUTSCRIPT ?

Thanks

Hello Christian,

thanks for your reply.
The only setting that was different from yours it the MailSpoolPath. I
adapted it, but nothing changed.
I also created the script /var/vmail/.../sieve/sogo.sieve as well as the
link /var/vmail/.../.sieve pointing to the sogo script. But as before,
when I modify the filter rules in the SOGo web interface and save the
changes, SOGo tells managesieve the command 'SETACTIVE ""' which deletes
the link /var/vmail/.../.sieve and furthermore 'DELETESCRIPT "sogo"'
which removes the file /var/vmail/.../sieve/sogo.sieve. But then SOGo
doesn't sends any further instructions to create a new sogo script and
to reenable it.
I'm not using any other software than SOGo to modify my sieve scripts.

[SOGo] MailFiedNames and SQL

2015-08-21 Thread Frank Soyer

Hey, me again ;)
now I need to use some aliases in the from field when sending mails in the
webUI.
For recall, I use Sogo with PostfixAdmin on a MariaDB database. Reading here
and there, I found that the alias functionnality isn't totally handle at this
time, but MailFiedNames can be a temporary alternative.
(in fact, I have totally NOT understood how to use
SOGoMailCustomFromEnabled... this will probably be the object of a later post
! For now, let try with MailFiedNames).

So, in the mailbox table of Postfixadmin, I added 2 fields mail1, mail2.
I modify the sogo view as this :CREATE VIEW `sogo_users` AS SELECT local_part
AS c_uid, username AS c_name, PASSWORD AS c_password, name AS c_cn, username AS
mail, mail1, mail2, domain FROM `mailbox`;and in SOGoUserSources, I added
 MailFieldNames = (mail1, mail2);

Restarted sogod, logout/login with my user, but no more choices in from
field... :'(

Any idea ?
Thanks,

If the link in header isn't intended for opening, maybe it will be better to

When using the link in the header, those are meant for saving only.
Because of that, they shall not open those files directly.

Only when you use the icons at the bottom of the email, SOGo will open
them with the corresponding application set within your OS.

Re: [SOGo] Sogo - dovecot - shared mailboxes

2015-07-15 Thread Frank Soyer
Well, I've found something today : the folder appears on my android
phone because on the webmail, in my tests I unchecked Show subscribed
mailboxes only... Checked it and the folder appears, empty as on the
phone, but it is there.
The thing that have changed is that (during my tests, again) I've played
with the syntax of the location = parameter in 10-mail.conf file of
dovecot. It seems that if something here doesn't fit with the real
folders (on local user part or destination user part), it does'nt
complain but simply doesn't display the other users folder. So with
this syntax for example :

 location = maildir:/home/vmail/%%d/%%u:INDEX=/home/vmail/%d/%u/shared/%%u
the folder Other users appears.
Now, I don't know why it is empty... To be continued... But if someone
has an idea...

[SOGo] Sogo webmail mime type unknown

2015-07-15 Thread Frank Soyer

Hi,
I've a problem with attached files in the webmail. In fact, all
attachements appears as unknown type, even pdf or png or txt files. In
Firefox in other web pages this files are correctly opened, the problem
only appears in the Sogo webmail.

Any idea ?

Sogo 2.3.0-1 rpm on CentOS6.6, Postfix 2.6.6-6, dovecot 2.0.9-8.

Thanks,
Frank

Re: [SOGo] Sogo - dovecot - shared mailboxes

2015-07-15 Thread Frank Soyer

Hi Johannes,
I'll try the mail_debug=yes and tell what I see, but for now, the
problem is the doveadm acl command. I see that this command was added
on 2.1, and on CentOS (even in the EPEL repos), the version is only 2.0.9.

Hi Frank,

increase Dovecot logging with

mail_debug=yes

and look if you maybe have some permission problems.

You could also try

doveadm acl debug -u userUsingFolder shared/userSharingFolder/Folder

to get more information.

Regards,

Johannes

Re: [SOGo] Sogo - dovecot - shared mailboxes

2015-06-30 Thread Frank Soyer

Hi again,
I've not say that Show subscribed mailboxes only is not cheched, of
course.

Note also that calendars and address books sharing works fine.
Any help will be appreciated :where and what to search, how to debug
(*_debug options in 10-mail.conf provide no help).

Thanks

@Daniel : I agree, LIST command only list folders, no shares.

Re: [SOGo] sogo-integrator

2015-01-30 Thread Frank Soyer

Hi,
We finally found the problem. TB (and Firefox, it seems that the
certificates list is the same for both ?) had two certificates for the
same server Sogo. Don't ask me how it is possible, no idea. We
suppressed the two, accessed to Sogo GUI to re-register the server
certificate, then all worked.

In the TB console, we had only a message file not found on modules,
probably not found because of the certificate error.

Thanks all.
I have now another small problem with notifications, I post another message.

ssl or plain?

if ssl and an unsigned cert, add it manually to thunderbird

Re: [SOGo] sogo-integrator

2015-01-21 Thread Frank Soyer

Hello,
yes, it is ssl and an unsigned cert. By installing manually the modules,
TB 31.4 asked for the cert, so now it has it. Next we uninstalled all
and tried to reinstall by integrator 31.0.1 : that don't work better,
after the first restart, no modules are installed and TB don't restart
automatically.
And it worked on my TB 31.3 (it had the cert added by the previous
install, same server).
