[SOGo] SOGo with MS Outlook, fresh Inbox incoming messages are not synchronized automatically, only manually by pressing 'Update folder' at Inbox at SOGo up to 2.0.2a.
When new incoming message is arrived, it doesn' t depend on from other users or from myself, it is not appeared in Inbox at all before if I go to other MS OL folder and come back to Inbox, but if I haven' t been done within 10-15 seconds after mail sent (if I know when it was sent) , there is 1 way only to look at Inbox folder new (fresh) messages, it is to press "" Synchronize" button at Inbox folder and then fresh messages will be appeared. But in case of Exchange + MS OL, fresh messages is displayed in Inbox folder in itself (without additional activity from user side) automatically after 5-10 seconds after sending. There is registry value which is set up of synchronization interval between Exchange and MS OL (at this time I don' t remember what) . This situation described at 0001685 and 0001972 Bug reports and at https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists/arc/users/2012-08/msg00278.html. But it was also in SOGo 2.0.2a with the latest Samba and Openchange versions (for those time) with MS OL 2010. So does anybody have such issue with MS OL 2010 or earlier ? It would be nch better if you send or post more detailed algo of IMAP folder synchronization beetwen MS Outlook local post file (OST) , Openchange ldb storage, SOGo PgSQL storage and IMAP folders. And mechanism description of pushing of new Inbox messagimg. Because sometimes sending / incoming messages goes not to Inbox, but to Drafts, deleting from Outlook messages is not deleted from IMAP server. [SOGo] Does the latest appliance support more then one address book ?
HI anybody. Is it possible to make two or more addresses books with the latest appliance version that could be accesses both via MS Outlook and via Web GUI ? There is called as address lists in MS Exchange. For example, there are 4 separate address books: my organization GAL, then separate CMA-CGM address book (address list as in Exchange terms) , separate MSC address book (address list as in Exchange terms) and OOCL address book. Which each consists of its own contacts - contacts belonging to it exact address book only, that is my internal - my LDAP users / contacts (in particular who can log on to the server, that is can be authorized by the server and can access to mail or other server services) , CMA-CGM consists partner contacts from its company (who has name, surname, phones, e-mail, some other information, but such users couldn' t logon to my server) , then the same address books for MSC and OOCL contacts. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

I have been already tried Dovecot for some time. After some SOGo/Openchange changes it works togeter fine, at least with Dovecot 2.1.9. All you described sounds good but for Dvecot all except Trash works fine, that is folders are created and it doesn' t depend on user is logged in. But if Web GUI is used for the the first time even Trash folder is created also, not only Drafts and Sent. [SOGo] Cyrus 2.4 doesn' t create user mailboxes at all except user is specified in cyrus conf as admin.
After installation and testing some latest SOGo appliance 2.0.0rc4+ versions I have got the same result, Cyrus doesn' t user mailboxes except user specified in imap.conf as Cyrus admin. Cyrus is authorized with alwaystrue parameter. It happens as with Web GUI as MS Outlook. Dovecot creates mailboxes except Trash one if MS Outlook is used and all including Trash if Web GUI is used. What has imap.conf and GNUstepDefaults.conf be that Cyrus could create mailboxes or Dovecot could additionally create Trash one within MS Outlook ? Profile in Ubuntu means path to your program binaries, by default Samba4 is installed to /usr/local/samba it is profile path to Samba4. It would be better to do with the latest Samba4 and Openchange verions, but I did so via proxyAddresses since I have authorization of all installed components by built-in Samba4 LDAP, that is AD like LDAP server. I have done Dovecot and Exim authentication by built-in Samba LDAP backend without any others LDAP servers. At least It authenticates users with passwords = its login names, for users with its password != its login names authentication is failed. I don' t know yet why. But there are some other issues / bugs with SOGo / Openchange / Samba beta1 with Dovecot in way of IMAP. I have installed Samba4 beta1 + Openchange 4026 + SOPE&SOGo v2., Dovecot 2.0.19, Exim 4.76, MS Outlook 2010 as client. At the moment there is serious bug in SOPE/SOGo part what crashes Samba4 to Panic position.
