Re: [SOGo] Help with SOGO Sieve Support

2018-09-07 Thread Philip Grueter

Hi,

sorry, I couldn't work for long on the mailserver for varoius reasons.
Now I got back to it and I have another new problem.

I have no idea where to get the credentials for the sieve.creds
Is it saved in any config file, cause I haven't found one. Do you have
any idea where to find these?

Kind regards,

Hello

That credentials file is needed, when sogo does changes to the sieve
configuration, e.g. for enabling and disabling/deleting vacation
messages.

You have to put the SIEVE master account and its password seperated by a
colon in there.
E.g.:
dovecotMaster:StrongSecret

If your SIEVE doesn't support the date extension, then you also need to
activate the cron job for enabling and disabling, see

Hi guys,

i hope this is how this mailing list works, I just try to describe my
problem ^^

We habe an iredmail Mailserver where I recently deactivated
roundcube to

use the sieve support from SOGo.
(I just removed the entrys from /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf and
/etc/httpd/conf.d/roundcube.conf).
I activated SOGo sieve support like this:
https://docs.iredmail.org/why.no.sieve.support.in.sogo.html
Now I get the option to activate Vacation in SOGo, but nothing works.
When I try to save, I get the message "service temporarily
unavailable",

but when I reload the site, it is in fact saved. But the vacation
response doesn't work.

In the Maildir directory, there is no dovecot.sieve or sogo.sieve
file

and I get no error entrys in the /var/log/dovecot-sieve.log file.
At this point I have no idea what to do.

Hope someone can give me some advice

Did you activate SIEVE in dovecot?
Did you create /etc/sogo/sieve.creds for admin access to managesieve?

Kind regards,
Christian Mack

Hello,

[SOGo] help with sogo-tool

2010-07-25 Thread Mark Madere
hello,

I am trying to backup my users' data with sogo-tool and I get the
following error:

sogo$ sogo-tool
2010-07-25 19:15:37.820 sogo-tool[2311] No LDAP source is configured in
the SOGo configuration of this account. Please make sure to use this
tool under the same username as SOGo.

I am running a multi-domain configuration and I have two LDAP servers.
I am confused why backing up data from a database is contingent on LDAP.

I have a linux user named sogo that runs the daemon but I do not have an
entry in either LDAP tree for a user sogo. Is this what i am missing?
Do i need to add a sogo user to both LDAP sources?

Thanks,
mark

[SOGo] Help configuring SOGo to interface with OpenLDAP on eBox

2010-07-19 Thread Jeremy Kiffiak
Hello everyone. I am very much a SOGo beginner. Actually still
struggling to get my first install up and working nicely. I am also
very new to LDAP in general and OpenLDAP specifically. I believe I
have most of the various pieces playing nicely together (Apache,
Postgresql, SOGo) as I can get to a login screen. However the
integration with OpenLDAP is non-functional and therefore I cannot
login to actually play with the software! HELP!

I have looked high and low on the internet and found a LOT of
different write-ups on installing and configuring SOGo. However, most
of them are either talking about previous versions OR assume a lot of
knowledge/experience that I just don't have. What I want to do (I
think) is create some SOGo specific accounts to add to the OpenLDAP
directory. However I cannot seem to authenticate to it even via the
command line using ldapadd.

Some examples of links I have been looking at follow:
http://forum.ebox-platform.com/index.php?topic=3453.0utm_source=twitterutm_medium=smutm_campaign=howto.sogo.ebox
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.cms.opengroupware.sogo/378/match=sogo+ldap+configuration

Oh, by the way, my final setup is two VMs. One running eBox
(OpenLDAP) and the other with SOGo (SOGo, Apache, postgresql).

Below is a bunch of my current configuration files. If you have some
suggestions please give me somewhat detailed instructions at least in
regards to OpenLDAP as the subject is still quite new and I am a
little hazy on it all. Thanks.

Jeremy
