iRedMail a free and open source mail server solution, it integrates SOGo
groupware with Postfix/Dovecot/...[1], it will save you so much time and you
don't need to get your hands dirty to install/setup so many open source
softwares required by a mail server, and it offers web interface to make your
life easier.

You should give it a chance: http://www.iredmail.org/

Compared to Zenytal, iRedMail doesn't integrate Samba4 and OpenChange.

Thanks , yes this is 'almost' what i was looking for.

We need to adapt this kind of gui for the 'users' to be able to create
new ldap accounts, handle the password force restrition, a bit like the
googleapps dashboard.

it seems to me most of the GUI currently available are made with the
system admin in mind, not the final user.

Well, you're not looking in the right place obviously, since 2.3.8 was
released on October 7th, and the last update to Trunk (what will be v3)
was on the 6th of this month.

So, like I said, best not to speak about things when you don't know what

Samba4 is perfect authentication backend IMO, so no need to re-invent the
wheel. Even if you don’t use/need native Outlook support now, you might want to
add it later, with samba4 you’d just extend the ldap schema and you’re fine to
go. With any other backend (openldap, mysql ..) you’d have to migrate existing
users beforehand … this might be a pain since it *could* involve password
changes which, if you have 100+ users …
