Hi,

Thank you for the downgrade method. It work for sure but how long?

I guess we have to deal with the fact that EAS is not an option anymore.

OpenChange is probably the best way to replace EAS. Too bad, it was easy to
install as well as to configure.

I reread this article four times.  I think he is only saying that
Outlook.com (or Office365) servers will stop allowing the desktop
Outlook client to connect via EAS.  I don't think he is saying that EAS
support in the desktop Outlook client will be dropped. Although I can
imagine that Microsoft might drop EAS support in desktop Outlook client
once it's not needed for their own services.   This is clearly a big
deal for SOGo.  Do you know of another source that might clarify this
question ?

Is there anything I can do to get this going?

Officially manual configuration is not supported, but if autodiscover
fails, you can still configure manually.  The trick is to enter an
email address with a bogus domain to make sure it fails.

That doesn't work either. I get a windows that says retry or change
account type.

Hello,

autodiscovery isn't a big thing, but as you mentioned required by
Outlook 2016.

Fortunally there exists the automx project which helps you with this (It
also helps for thunderbird and other clients)
