You need to define an extra usersource like this: type = ldap; CNFieldName = cn; IDFieldName = sAMAccountName; UIDFieldName = sAMAccountName; baseDN = "DC=company,DC=com"; canAuthenticate = NO; bindDN = "a_dn_to_bind_with"; bindPassword = "a_secret"; displayName = "Descriptive name"; hostname = "ldap://q.w.e.r ldap://a.s.d.f";; MSExchangeHostname = "webmail.company.com"; id = exch-ad; isAddressBook = YES; port = 3268; scope = "SUB"; After this, free/buzy lookups are done 'automatically'. Several fixes were made for timezone conversion issue, but latest sogo works very well. Let me know if you need more info. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Hi, mourik jan heupink schrieb (16.06.2015 15:47 Uhr): a) Yes, this will work, we have done it. I found the thread "Outlook FreeBusy lookups" meanwhile, thank you. We are testing this with a third party now. b) No, SOGo is looking up free/buzy info from the exchange server over the /ews. And as far as I know, this will only work using the SOGo web interface. (we are not doing it using thunderbird) Is there some documentation how this works? How is the /ews of the exchange server is found etc.? If this really works, it would be really nice, if this would work in TB/w SOGo add-ons as well. Marc -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

(we are not doing it using thunderbird) I might have some notes somewhere, if you'd like it, I could try to look them up. I think it has been discused (long ago, i think) on this mailinglist as well. [SOGo] free/busy between two organizations - expose free/busy in SOGo / Read external free/busy
Hi, is there a way to a) expose the free/busy information for (some) internal SOGo users to other users outside the SOGo system (like an Exchange Organization)? If yes, how? Is Outlook able to display this information like MS expects in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/291621 - "Internet Free/Busy (IFB)"? b) If Outlook/Exchange is able to expose the free/busy information (which seems to be the case, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/291621) how can I make use of this information in SOGo? Especially if we use Thunderbird with the SOGo extensions? Marc -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
