ctl.conf :
net.ipv4.tcp_keepalive_time = 900
net.ipv4.tcp_keepalive_intvl = 60
net.ipv4.tcp_keepalive_probes = 9
Before that, the application was tested without using the firewall and
everything worked fine.
If you have any idea of why this is happening, I haven't found a solution yet.

Hello,
First of all, thanks for your reply.

Ok, there is no reference to "webapp resource
Hello,
After a Tomcat 6.0.36 to 7.0.54 migration, I added to my global
'context.xml' the configuration:
Which excluded (as I readed in the docs,
http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/config/jar-scanner.html#Standard_Implementation)
the scaning of system classpath, and shared and common class
copying the file worked.

I just installed tomcat and nothing is configured.
I have no apps yet therefore I don't have a web.xml for any specific apps
In the server.xml file the jndi portion is empty.
I have no problem reading docs I just don't know where to begin.

Luc Nadon

Hello Fred,
I defined a load balancer for a single tomcat instance as well, and it
doesn't seem slow at all.
I think it is more scalable.
On our production server, we switched to 2 tomcat instances very easily.
If it takes more memory, then it won't be much.
Greetings,

ok,
Now I understand.
I'll try to get this added to the "Jakarta Tomcat Connector - Apache HowTo"
page that comes with tomcat.
Thanks for your help.

If I change the config, and add the worker in the workers.list, then it just
tells me that it can not initialize the tomcat1 worker.
Can anyone help me one this, since I'm out of ideas. I tried to telenet to
