So, originally I had just used the startup batch script.
But then I configured it as a Service and used the Windows Services utility
to Start and Stop Tomcat, after that point.
I don't think that will change your thoughts/comments on the un-install.
But if so, please advise.

Sorry, I also ran "%CATALINA_HOME%\bin\service.bat install" and a Windows
Service is there and available in the SERVICES gui.
