Hi, I somehow doubt this is considered good practice to let one component know where in the component tree another component is situated. The code you propose breaks very easily e.g. if you introduce another container around the ADDT. Why don't you just pass the ADDT instance into the AjaxLink?

the question is: how does the uploader send the upload? does it send the data as part of the form submit or in the background independently of the form data? since it can do things like pause/resume i am going to assume the latter which is why you are not seeing that data as part of the form

you need to wire your events. listpanel can have an abstract onclicked(); editpanel can have a method called inputchanged() which calls form.clearinput() your listpanel can then look like this: add(new listpanel() { onclicked() { editpanel.inputchanged(); }}): that way everything is still nicely
