I also really liked the idea that we could give t-shirts to patchers or wicketstuff projects etc.. People feel much more appreciated and it would make good conversation at work.. But I guess it could remain the same with the paypal solution.. Just having the logo would look even more magical *g* "Less is more" Loads of people would ask what this 'wicked' logo means and you have all the attraction you possibly want :-) This would make it easier to proselytize alien web developers because you don't have to hunt them down first but they come to you voluntarily +1 for just the logo +1 for having some well-contrasting shirt color besides white (maybe dark blue which is on the opposite side of the color circle) Keep on rocking Peter Am 26.08.2008 um 00:18 schrieb Ryan Gravener: I like the idea of a professional shirt, something you can wear in the office to show your support for wicket. Re: Wicket merchandise?
I don't know about de-emphasizing Apache in the name. Apache Wicket is the name of the framework. It's Apache's brand and trademark. I would run these designs by the "powers that be" (whoever that is). If you don't want all one color for the name, why not try using a border of some sort (perhaps "wicket orange")? Re: Wicket merchandise? - T-Shirt problem
I have a short sleeve Wicket T-Shirt, but as the weather is about to get colder, I would like a long-sleeve version. What would be the best way of accomplishing this? Should I add the sleeves to a panel and add them to the shirt container? Or should I extend the base shirt component and include the sleeves in the child markup?
