Marius, Thanks for your reply. I placed the userReference.name in the extra params like so: 'extraParams': 'assignee=$xcontext.userReference.name' Printing to screen $xcontext.userReference.name does show 'test' as the value, unfortunately my livetable is still showing blank results.

What components are missing? Note that not all features that you see on http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Features/WysiwygEditor are enabled by default. You can enable them from the Administration. There's a section dedicated to the WYSIWYG editor. See
