In order to debug your issue you should: * open the browser's developer tools * select the Network tab * reload the page * type something in the search input * check the last requests send; they should target the XWiki.SuggestSolrService page * check the response output for each of these requests

The Office Document Import feature is limited to what the Office server in use is capable of. XWiki passes the office document to the office server and gets HTML in response. If the received HTML doesn't contain all the formatting that you have in the original office document then XWiki can't do
