Yes I created the workflow and 2 spaces (draft and publication).
Here what I 've done:

I create 2 spaces:
- draft
- publication
Add-Space-Space name and "blank page"  selected.

"Space:Draft" - Administer Draft-Panel Wizard and Drag and Drop "Workflow"
Panel at he right on my windows and Save New Layout

I'm going on the PublicationWorkflow space (PublicationWorkflow/WebHome)- Add a
Page:
- "Publication Workflow Config Template " selected - Space Name
- Space name "PublicationWorkflow"
- Page name: "MyPrettyWorkflow"

I fill the 3 groups with existants groups and chose "Draft" in
defaultDraftSpace-Save&view

Then I'm going on my "Draft ", I edite and save a new page "MyPage"
In my workflow panel:
"Page de publication":
 MyPage
"Espace de publication" Publication
workflow: MyPrettyWorkflow
= I click on "Initier le workflow"
... and I obtain this error message:

workflow doc ref: workflow:Draft.MyPage
Action : start
workflow.script.failed

I checked if my email go out.

Thxs for your help.

Hello,

I try to use the  workflow extension
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/XWiki+Publication+Workflow+Application
 on xwiki 5.3.

I installed the extension 1.02 version with the extension manager but I obtaint
this message when I use it:

"workflow doc ref: workflow:EspaceBrouillon.WebHome Action : start
workflow.script.failed"

The documentation is too light and probably something miss me.

If you tried this extension can you tell me if it is work on xwiki 5.3?

If yes, have you some documentation (or help) to use it?

Thxs by advance.

Re: [xwiki-users] How do I add FAQ to existing Space?

2014-01-30 Thread Bill Vlahos
If I search the text in the field under the "Question" header it correctly
searches the FAQs. If I type the text in the "question text..." field in the
fancy search FAQ box I get the following error, "Failed to execute the
[velocity] macro". I added the filter parameter "filter=space=IT" but that
didn't make any difference. The editor has the alert "The environment prevents
the table from loading data." What else does it want?

Thanks,

Thanks. The first suggestion worked to add the FAQ to a space or Page. I could
have sworn I tried this earlier but it is working now.

The second suggestion doesn't hide anything even though the checkbox is checked
to hide it. I suspect it is because the default skin is used and the docs say
the default skin doesn't hide anything.

Hi,

1. Go Add menu -> Space. Let's say the new space is MyFAQ. You will be
redirected in the MyFAQ.WebHome edit state. Give a title. Save the page.
Now edit this MyFAQ.WebHome page in Edit -> Objects mode
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Features/PageEditing#HObjectseditingmodeand
add an object of type FAQCode.FAQHomeClass. It should work now when you are
going to visit the MyFAQ space.

2. You can remove the FAQ space, but you need to keep FAQCode since it contains
the application functionality. In order to hide the pages see

Looks like the users watchlist value has been damaged by something.
(Looking at the code I actually have no idea how this can happen).
Anyway, if you can e.g. use the Wiki Admin to navigate to the user profile page,
edit this with the object editor and clear the "Space list" in the
XWiki.WatchListClass
object, this hopefully should fix the problem.

 If there are no privacy issues with that value, I would be curious to know
which value
for the "watched Spaces list" is able to break the main menu ...

Re: [xwiki-users] Howto access property values of a document's class

2014-01-30 Thread Clemens Klein-Robbenhaar
Hi Matthias,

 the problem is that if loaded via HQL the objects do not come with all their
properties loaded; but you can load them by extending the HQL query:

{{groovy}}
hql ="select obj, prop from BaseObject as obj, StringProperty as prop where
obj.className='MySpace.MyClass' and obj.id=prop.id.id and
prop.name='MyProperty'"
results = services.query.hql(hql).execute()

println "|= Title |= Value"
results.each { item ->
   println "|[[${item[0].name}>>${item[0].name}]]| ${item[1].getValue()}"
}
{{/groovy}}

(This is assuming that 'MyProperty' is actually a StringProperty, and not e.g.
a DateProperty)

There is more about it on the Query Module page:
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Query+Module

Hope this helps,
Clemens

BTW, for me the "magic query completion" that e.g. make the HQL-query
containing the empty string list all documents in the current wiki does no
longer work, while it is given as example in the documentation. A "where 1=1"
works flawlessly however. Is this just me?

Mostly you did, but something has eaten the closing quotes of the println
statements. Pretty easy to find this out, however ;)

I'm going on the PublicationWorkflow space (PublicationWorkflow/WebHome)- Add a

In my workflow panel:
