Re: [xwiki-users] RES: Import users from LDAP
Why do you need to import your users? If they are in Active Directory you can configure AD groups for automatic creation in the wiki and get membership to the groups from AD when the users sign in. Doing this you will want to manage permissions by AD groups in XWIki. I am new to xwiki so bear with me if this a solution already built into xwiki. Re: [xwiki-users] Import users from LDAP
Export in a XAr is not working in xwiki 2.8, because the size of the DB Oracle is already 20 go. I've got some problems when i try to copy the db to the new server. The administration pages are not migrating properly from xwiki 2.8 to 5.x. have to try again a dump with xwiki 5.3 or 5.4. All spaces are secured so in the best case, I would a synch with LDAP , like this I dont need to wait that a new user connect to xwiki to give rights. 2014-02-18 10:30 GMT+01:00 Thomas Mortagne : > On Tue, Feb 18, 2014 at 10:21 AM, Patrick Moens > wrote: > > Hi , > > > > Is there someone who success to import users from LDAP in xwiki 5.x ? > > > > I'm preparing a fresh install of xwiki 5.4 but have to give specific > access > > to different spaces for +700 users.
