So I found a workaround to this issue by switching to the Postgres user. I am

Whenever I save a new class (app?) based wiki page (blog, FAQ or custom app) I
get a red error at the bottom of the page that reads: "Failed to save the page.
Reason: Server not responding" The strange thing is the page did save. Other
than the error message nothing appears to be wrong.

I am making a several lists with tasks and associated checkboxes. The checkbox
data will not be stored or used in any way. It's only purpose is as a reminder
of tasks which have been completed.
My best idea for achieving this is to write a wiki macro using the HTML macro
to insert a checkbox
What kind of resources were allocated to your sever? The minimum values allowed
by Jelastic, in my experience, are inadequate to run Xwiki. Unfortunately their
one-click install does not set the server up for you as well but this is not
really expected.

It's never too late for good advice. I actually ran into a naming issue with my
project and put it on hold for a bit. When I pick it back up next week I will
look at using this method instead. Thanks!

I tried Jelastic. The set up was very simple, all preconfigured and everything
worked fine. In the end I did not stay with Jelastic only because I did not

Thanks for the idea. Using Chrome's inspect element to look at the CSS and a

Within this file you can easily update the preferred fonts and size, including
Yes, I did. Unfortunately this appears to edit the entire wiki, as changes to

Without knowing your setup it would be very difficult to tell you how to reset
your system. Personally I use a combination of Vagrant and Digitalocean to run
Xwiki independent of my personal computer. Vagrant uses Virtualbox to make a
local machine and is free. Digitalocean creates a VPS and is
