As you can see on http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Office+Importer+Application, Office Import is bundled in XE so you need to install it. "Version 8.4.3 is installed as dependency" means exactly what is written: it is installed already in version 8.4.3 and it's been installed

I wanted to import a word document to see how it does. I have xwiki 8.4.3. The Office Importer Application needs to be installed, as far as I can tell. Next to it's name it says 8.3, and in the header it has "Version 8.4.3 is installed as dependency". It does not have the blue Install button;
