With the same situation in Excel, the printout is *only the sheet* I'm positioned. Can anybody confirm this behaviour? I assume by "Print PDF directly" you mean the "Export as PDF" button on the toolbar. You can get more control of the PDF output by using File > Export as PDF... On the "General" tab, set "Range" to "Selection"; if there is a selection, it will include only the selected range, otherwise it will include only the selected sheet. You can even select more than one sheet to be included (e.g. if you want to include the first and third sheets) by clicking on the tab for one of them and then holding Ctrl on the keyboard while clicking each of the others. Then File > Export as PDF..., set "Range" to "Selection" will only the selected sheets. If you want those extra options accessible from the toolbar button rather than going through the File menu, you can customise your toolbars at Tools > Customise > Toolbars. The default icon is on the "Standard" toolbar, and you want to add the button for Category "Documents", Command "Export as PDF" (the one without an icon). After adding it, you can click the "Modify" button and give it an icon rather than appearing on the toolbar as the text "Export as PDF". -- Mark. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

Here you could print in a file and the default here is pdf and selected sheet. If I choose File > Print (Ctrl+P); then set "Printer" = "Print to File ..."; then click the "Pint to File..." button. The "Save As" window appears. The only "Save as type" available is *.PRN. Thus, it does not appear that a PDF can be produced from Ctrl+P. (Unless an 'PDF Printer' has been separately installed on the computer.) > And there will be not much people, who only want to export the selected page. My spreadsheets typically include one or more sheets for data and analysis and a single summary sheet. I typically only distribute the summary sheet in PDF format. Thus, from my perspective it would be nice if the Calc default for PDF creation was the same as for printing (Selected sheets) or the PDF Export default could be configured in Options or under Expert Configuration. Re: [libreoffice-users] Strange pdf printout in Calc vs. Excel
@Valter There is actually an enhancement request related to PDF export in Calc: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54052 I agree the default of printing the entire workbook is generally unwelcome.
