Thank you everybody. It is the 'insert sheet from file' that does the job for me. I couldn't find it in the help docs because I wrongly focused on looking for info on 'import file into sheet' rather than 'insert sheet from file'. Just shows the need for more lateral thinking. And you can also right click in the sheet list at the bottom and insert a sheet from file. Hi Philip. In the menu 'Sheet' there is an insert sheet from file. This will insert the CSV as a new sheet.
