Inheritable Profiles or Decision making in POM

I had a discussion with Robert about inheritable profiles. As Robert said, this would introduce new issues and bugs. Altering dependencies is a bad sing in project my company really need it at least in POM with packaging WAR and runtime scope. Profiles are not inheritable. This is user unfriendly

Hi Jeronimo, The old version of Surefire and Failsafe required to have the Junit5 engine in the test dependency. But you do not have to declare it if you use the version 3.0.0-M4. It's enough to have only Junit Jupiter API in the test dependency. The plugin will find out the engine from Junit5.
