Help with installation

Hi: I recently bought an Asus computer and am trying to install open office. It appears that I have installed everything as the icons for writer , calc, etc are showing but I cannot open then. Do you know what the problem might be? Kurt Sent from Mail

Kurt, I have read, but not experienced, that some antivirus products affect installation or launch of OpenOffice. Your experience, install seems successful but programs won't launch, sounds very much like the problem described with Windows 10 and Windows Defender Antivirus. To test this, turn of
