Awesome! Thanks for all of your help. I was able to install this
package and upgraded vdsm which appears to have resolved the disk
errors I was seeing.

Is there a way to direct ovirt login requests to the server's FQDN
using mod_rewrite? I placed

Hi,
I am finally planning to start our oVirt hosted engine upgrade. I am not
sure how stable my hosted engine storage is ( it shows wrong status in web
GUI ) So I arranged a new shared storage and plan to do a fresh install (

I think it did. Cluster exists 4 years now, hosted engine 7 months.

Is there a way to upgrade vdsm without upgrading everything else?

Michael,
I'd recommend to build an rpm:
# yum --enablerepo=extras install -y epel-release git
# git clone https://github.com/oVirt/vdsm.git
# cd vdsm
# git checkout v4.17.35
# yum install -y `cat ./automation/build-artifacts.packages`
# ./automation/build-artifacts.sh

Hi,
with 4.1 beta2, I try to use ovirtvm-console with my AD imported account
with issue "Failed to execute login on behalf - for user xxx".
* I can login with name into the webadmin as a superuser.
* I don't meet any issue with 4.0.x
* whatever the pub key is it is the same
* All other AD
Created a BZ to track the issue

Thanks, that's kind of what I'm discovering. Is it possible for an
ovirt 4 host to join a 3.6 cluster? Do I need to upgrade my engine
first? We are running ovirt-engine 3.6 on a dedicated server which
manages two ovirt nodes right now.

The port is set up on the host by the ovirt-provider-ovn-driver.
The driver is invoked by the vdsm hook whenever any operation on
the port is done.
Please ensure that this is installed properly.
You can check the vdsm log (/var/log/vdsm/vdsm.log) to see if the
hook was executed properly.

Is it already defined? Any blocking factor?
I would like to update a couple of test/lab environments currently in 4.0.4
and if possible I would by-pass 4.0.5 to directly jump to 4.0.6 + CentOS
7.3 if available in a few days.
Thanks,

Hello Tomas,
I have not used the .vv files, I only downloaded them to see the direct server
settings. As I wrote, the conenction to the server is possible, it asked for
the password, if I enter the correct one the window is directly closed without
an error message. If I enter a wrong password,

I'm working on a program that should take a set of variables for the name,
ram and disk space as well as how many disks (IE, 3 at 10, 15 and 20GB).
Most of that works, but if I try and specify an integer value for memory it
will seemingly always fail. I'm using Python 3, code and error are below.
