It would be from the last 4.2.3 release in the ovirt-4.2-pre repositories
I haven't got the logs unfortunately, I'll try to recreate the scenario
over the weekend.

Dear Nir, Arik and Richard,
I hope discussion will continue somewhere where i am able to join as watcher at
least.
I have not seen any communication since Nir’s proposal. Please, if possible
allow me to somehow track in which direction you are leaning.
In the meantime, as experienced

please open a bug on VDSM. This is something we need to deal with during

Hi,
from which oVirt version are you upgrading to 4.2.4? Could you please share
with us complete upgrade logs from engine host?
Thanks

Hi,
as you might already know I try to use ceph with openstack in an oVirt
test environment. I'm able to create and remove volumes. But if I try to
run a VM which contains a ceph volume it is in the "Wait for launch"
state for a very long time. Then it gets into "down" state again. The

Hi,
for any of you who wants AMD EPYC support right now (its a hack, not
proper tested!):
1) Make sure your node and your engine are running under RedHat/CentOS 7.5
[root@ovirt ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS Linux release 7.5.1804 (Core)
2) Get your PostgreSQL credentials

Do I even tell you how I do the conversion from legacy to OVS?
It does use ansible, and creates the vdsm nework configuration in /var/lib/vdsm
for an OVS/OVN based network.
It works great, the nodes join right up to oVirt engine with no configuration
needed.
But I know that's unsupported.
I believe the user community deserves a little background for this
decision. OVS has been "experimental" since ovirt-4.0.z with migration
disabled by default. We were not aware of huge benefits it had
over the default Linux bridge, and did not expect people to be using
it in important deployments.

Thank you, I am using cloud-init module as suggested, but the VM that

Dear All,
I'm having problems getting LDAP running, login works, but I'm getting "user is
not authorised to perform login" - this is even if i specify the UserRole
