samba 4 ad as an ldap backend. It works fine via the Webfrontend and via
the Thunderbird sogo-integrator/connector.
Now i tried to connet to the calendar from an iPad and an IPhone.
(iCalendar 5.0 iPhone/4.3.1).

Groups before are no longer visible for the members of these groups.
Also they do not show up if i try to readd them manually via the web
fronted calendar abo. Fortunately sharing these calendars for
autheticated users works

that lightning and sogo addons are bundled as hidden addons. Means they

You used purge and not remove so all configs got removed as well.
Take an look in /var/lib/samba you may find backup's there done by
apt/dpkg durcing upgrades.
I have an bunch of backed-up-by-dpkg-on-2015-03-10T16.56.tar.gz files
there.
Seems these include all the necessary ldb's
