I doubt anybody will be able to pinpoint the problem just from reading your
description. So
- upgrade to 6.30.0 first
- check your log for serialization errors
- create a quickstart

an AJAX event is received I take a look at the contents of the HTTP request &

I have beed unable to root cause it and I was wondering is someone could help
