If you run XWiki with root user, then thoses directory will be created in
/root/, instead of /home/.
It's not the best idea to run Tomcat with root user, but since it's not the
purpose of this mail, let's ignore that.
You need to set openoffice.profilePath (in xwiki.properties) to
"/root/.ope
ok,
the user is 'root',
the 'soffice.bin' file is in /opt/openoffice.org3/program/ path
The command runs successfully but I haven't the openoffice.org/3 directory
...
In my /home directory there are two directories inside :
oracle
nagios

You need to check what user is really used. Try this out!

What version are you using ? Could you copy/paste here all the properties
you can found in the "OpenOffice Server" panel, in the administration
section?
Can you also try to start the program with the same user you're running the
wiki, for instance:
