I think the issue is about running spark interpreter in windows. This is due to some script changes in interpreter launch script interpreter.sh, but it is not applied in interpreter.cmd. We could still support windows by fixing this issue, but I don't have time on this right now. We had no trouble running 0.8.0 on Windows 10 professional. We even set up authentication. Testing on windows can also be done as CI on appveyer. I don’t completely get your comment on .cmd file though. Are you suggesting we don’t support windows and users can “run on windows” by basically running Linux in a virtual environment?
