Hello -
I am using the USRP E312 and I am doing a 2 RX channel capture into the onboard
1GB RAM. Sample rate is set to 5Mhz. I am able to achieve capturing from both
antennas at this sample rate but for some odd reason, I am not able to maintain
consistent 5Mhz sample rate. i.e. The status

I am using a USRP E312 to transmit a signal from a file. I have a computer
connected to the USRP E312 via serial USB and I SSH into the USRP E312. Inside
the USRP E312, I have a file that is transmitted. I use the out of the box
program that is already in the USRP E312 (tx_from_file

I am using the USRP b210 but this questions can be for all USRPs. Do they
provide time tagging of the data transmitted and received or is that something
that I would have to create myself.
Thanks,
Daniel Cho

Hello -
I have a few questions regarding the usrpb200mini.
Does it have an AGC?
When setting the gain manually through GNUradio, does that bypass the AGC or
will the AGC kick in when it senses a low powered signal.
What is the relationship between the manual gain set through GNUradio and the

So you need to have the 1 PPS AND a reference clock (whether 10MHz input or
GPSDO)?

Hello -
I am having issues with overflow with the USRP B210 at 20 MSPS. I am using a
LiveUSB that has Ubuntu and Gnuradio in it. The gnuradio flow chart is just
the USRP source going into a file sink with the destination being just
/dev/null. Since the data is going to /dev/null, there

I am using a USB 3.0 with a USRP b210 and I should be having no trouble
receiving or transmitting 61.44 Msps but I am getting overflows when trying to
receive just 20 Msps. What is the reason for this low rate?
I am using a virtual machine but all the settings are maxed out with RAM

I tried looking for a guide in setting up an Ubuntu VM to use for a USRP B210
that I just bought but was unable to find anything online.
How much memory (RAM) should we allocate to the VM?
How big should the virtual disk size be?
How do we configure the network to connect the USRP to the

Hello,
Ah that explains it. It's not that GNU Radio isn't generally compatible with
y
branch or a tagged release, such as "v3.7.10.2".
What error are you getting?

The Octoclock which we use produces a 20% duty cycle square wave with 5V high
and 0V low.

I am using 2 USRP E310 which I would like to frequency sync together. I am
using a frequency generator which is generating a 1 PPS (1Hz sine wave) signal
which I put through a power splitter to provide both USRPs with the same 1 PPS
signal. I configured the rx_samples_to_file and
ple which supports setting the time source, you can modify other
examples based on this.

Are you trying to achieve phase synchronization?

I am using two USRP E310s with on transmitting and one receiving. I had one
USRP transmit a CW tone at 4.2 GHz and had the other USRP receive at 4.205 GHz.
For some reason, I see two peaks, one at the expected frequency (5 MHz offset
from center) and one at center frequency.

In order to load a custom FPGA, you run the python script "uhd_image_loader
--args="type=usrp2,addr=" --fw-path=""
--fpga-path=""" which is then automatically loaded at runtime. Is
that on-board storage volatile? Will I have to run this python script every
time I reboot the USRP
