As someone said in an earlier thread:
To me it is about flying above all the nightmare complexity of pages
of boilerplate code that is required at the C level.
The core values a Vala brand should communicate are lightness, ease,
freedom and openness. I think wings symbolize these values quite
to organize this?
I'd love to support the project, but I can't if I don't get clear

Some time ago I checked out the Vala Wikipedia page after reading about it
on elementaryos.org and discovered that there was no logo. After googling
it, I got to the mailing list, where I read that you are currently seeking
a logo http://www.mail-archive.com

thought I might be able to help.
