What exactly are you trying to do?
I also read "test.com" in your message, but don't think your main domain
would be "test.com"
So how did you setup qmail and vpopmail and which options did you use?

Hi!
I quickly developed some kind of a 'vacation solution'.
What I basically rely on is the fact that when a user 'test' exists in a
vpopmail domain 'domain.com', thus 'domain.com/test' I still can use a
.qmail-test file in 'domain.com' with the following lines:
| ~/vpopmail/bin/vacation ~/vpop

Sorry, I understoord from Ken Jones that there is a vacation solution in

Ken,
How STABLE is the current development version?
Is is possible to just use the vacation solution from the development version
in 4.9.10?
Thank!

Does any one know about a vacation solution for vpopmail?
Thanks!

Sorry for my ignorance, but I would put a file (attachment) of that size
on FTP.
As far as I know FTP transfers the file in binary form which means that
you stay away from the stricky encoding/decoding stuff.
Also, it's up to the receiver to decided whether or not they want the
file...
I do not
If on your platform

you should be OK, other wise... you might be in trouble.

Any one any idea how these two work together?
Would I have to add lines with vipmap for every alias domain?
Thanks!
Jan
Nop!
I just checked around a little more and found vipmap and wondered why it
does not work through DNS anymore...

Hi,
I just tried to upgrade from 4.9 to 4.9.10, but popping mail did not
seem to work after that.
Once I restored the original ~/bin directory everything worked fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi,
I am trying something new:
I've got an existing domain running sendmail which is being transferred
to qmail...
Now we have an alias "support" which forwards to a couple of users and
also to support@ the same domain. Which aliases and sendmail this seems
to work fine, however, I seem to hav

Needless to say, this returns an un-equal because of which
ezmlm-manage exits and the list does not seem to accept
administrative requests.
Hope this will be of help to anyone setting u

This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work

and once a pop3 request is being made the domain name would be passed to

Just a crazy thought, but I thought you might want to know some of these
thoughts.
Take care and thanks for all the great work and support!

per way.
There is a script somewhere in the installscripts that tells you how to do
it.
Once you start the popper that way, preferable of course via tcpwrapper
you should be able to pop the e-mail. You however have to make sure that
the user you start the daemon as has access to the directory
4.9 that requires
the usage of 'user%domain.ext' instead of 'user'.
Eventhough I am glad it works again, or at least I can make it work, I
do not really like the 'user%domain.ext' notation for the username where
in the same dialog box I already specified that the serv

domain.com after the username? I'm never going to duplicate
usernames and I don't want to have to re-setup all the clients.--
