As I have understood your explain ( according to I use courier-imap4.x ) the
roaming-users will not work with courier-imap4.x properly, will it ?

I use courier-imap4.0.6, vpopmail5.4 with
qmail1.03.
Although the roaming user works well with pop3, I
couldnot work roaming-user ( imap before smtp ) option with
imap.
