RE: [vchkpw] deprecated quota function?

2010-05-21 Thread Marc van de Geijn
Thanks for the answer, Matt.

Vusaged is running, and the vusagec command is reporting the results without
a problem. But when I use vsetuserquota I still get the error. Should I use
some extra/new/other option to force the use of the vusage daemon?

What is the new way of changing the quota?s? I can?t find any
documentation of how it should be done in 5.5.0.

With 5.5 you should be running the vusage daemon. 5.5 is a
development version, and that message is there to indicate that
software is accessing functions which are intended to not be available
in future versions.

If you do not run the vusage daemon, 5.5 falls back on the deprecated
functions.

[vchkpw] deprecated quota function?

2010-05-20 Thread Marc van de Geijn
Hi,

We are upgrading our servers from a very old vpopmail installation to the
latest version. During the tests of the new installation we get program
using deprecated quota function messages. All that the script is doing is
change the quota:

vmoduser -q 5m email address

The full message we get is:

warning: program using deprecated quota function at maildirquota.c:527

What is the new way of changing the quota's? I can't find any documentation
of how it should be done in 5.5.0.

Kind regards,

Marc
