Re: [vdr] [ANNOUNCE] vdr-xine-0.8.2 plugin
Hallo Reinhard, which revision of external ffmpeg do you use? I can't compile xine-lib-cvs-2008031020 + your patch with last ffmpeg revisions. In file included from ffmpeg_decoder.h:31, from ffmpeg_decoder.c:30: ./libavcodec/avcodec.h:34:20: error: avutil.h: No such file or directory In file included from ffmpeg_decoder.h:31, from ffmpeg_decoder.c:30: ./libavcodec/avcodec.h:716: error: expected specifier-qualifier-list before 'AVClass' ./libavcodec/avcodec.h:2098: error: expected ':', ',', ';', '}' or '__attribute__' before '*' token ./libavcodec/avcodec.h:2131: error: expected '=', ',', ';', 'asm' or '__attribute__' before 'attribute_deprecated' ./libavcodec/avcodec.h:2524: error: expected '=', ',', ';', 'asm' or '__attribute__' before 'int' Last checkout from xine-lib-1.2 does works. But your xine/patches/xine-lib.patch has many rejects and reverts with this tree. Regards Oleg ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr
[vdr] Subtitles should not be cleared when a replay has been paused
Hi, I think there is a slight usability flaw in the design how DVB subtitles are handled when replaying a record. Currently, if I pause the replay, subtitles will disappear when their life span has out. Could it be changed so that the subtitles stay visible as long as the replay is paused? -Petri ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr

Maybe that's why it states this in the INSTALL file ;): in case you are using xine-lib-1.2, there is no need for patching -Petri ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr

[vdr] vdr setup for Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S-plus
Hi, I installed a dvb Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S-plus in Ubuntu 7.10. scan and Kaffeine 0.8.5 for Astra 19.2E are OK. I want to set-up vdr and have it already installed via apt-get (version 1.4.7). Which plugins shall I install to get it working in the most simple form. Where can I find some example for this setup. Thanks in advance Gaston ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr
[vdr] xineliboutput and ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy)
I have installed 1.5.17 (i think) of vdr (from the experimental apt repository) however I can't get xineliboutput compiled as it's complaining that it can't find a valid libxine. It looks like the dependencies are quite specific in what they want. Will try to provide more info tomorrow when I'm at work and can check better, but has anyone else resolved this? -- Latest news on http://www.streetcredo.org.uk/rob Rob Davis ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr
