I'm running vdr-pvrinput and vdr-xine. Until recently I was living in the US
(NTSC land), but moved back to NZ (PAL land) recently.
I'm also now playing at 16:9
Everything I watch or record here is at full screen, but all the recordings I
made in the US are cropped with verticle black bands up

In all the prevous versions of VDR, I have had to patch the FRAMESPERSECOND
and change the rest of the hardcoded PAL values in VDR for my NTSC
television. Is making this an option in VDR on the TODO list?

the future! You can see vdr's North American popularity from the activity at
that site.

Klaus and the others realize) and it seems weird
