You are absolutely right, the P4 has indeed 2.4GHz (and 512MB of RAM) Which makes it the more surprising that on SD channels I am getting cpu utilization in the region of 80% to 95% It should be a lot less? This is the lspci output for the graphics card: 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 8284
