It is part of ETSI EN 300 468 since 1.10.1 (2009-11) but you may have
overseen it, as it is in the extended desriptor range, extension
descriptor (tag 0x7F), tag extension 0x04.

This may help:

ETSI EN 300 468 still doesn't cover DVB-T2 (but it does cover S2) but by
googling for DVB-T2 delivery descriptor I found this PDF:

It doesn't go into much detail, including what the identifier code is
for that sort of descriptor, but maybe dvbsnoop is already aware of
that?

[vdr] DVB-T2 tuning

Yes, I know it works in vdr 1.7. And xine's DVB plugin tunes into the HD
channels here too. The problem is that Fedora uses vdr 1.6, and this version
doesn't work. So obviously the tuning code in vdr 1.7 is different somehow...

Thanks,
Chris

AFAIK, DVB-T2 at least needs support for QAM_256. I don't think the DVB-T tuner
in VDR 1.6 supports anything better than QAM_64, so adding QAM_256 would
definitely be a start.

Here is what i did with 1.7 vdr.

My tuning file:
T 69800 8MHz AUTO AUTO AUTO AUTO AUTO AUTO

Used scan to get channels.confs:
HD
Test:69800:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_AUTO:FEC_AUTO:QAM_AUTO:TRANSMISSION_MODE_AUTO:GUARD_INTERVAL_AUTO:HIERARCHY_AUTO:520:721:1545
HD
Test;Anvia:698000:I999B8C999D999M999T999G999Y999:T:27500:520:721=fin:0:0:1545:0:0:0

Copy pasted -o vdr -formatted line into vdr's channels.conf. Restarted
vdr and now that channel is working.

Now channel is working if reception is good enough.

For DVB-S2 there had to be a special flag and additional
tuning parameters. Don't know how this is handled with DVB-T2.
